Fran Soeder directed the first ever New York revivals of Stephen Sondheim's works A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, PACIFIC OVERTURES, and ANYONE CAN WHISTLE at the York Theatre Company in New York. A Little Night Music included Helen Lloyd Breed, Barbara Broughton, Jane Krakowski, Mary Lynne Metternich, Kathryn Morath, Diane Pennington, Keith Rice, Jay Stuart, and M. Lynne Weinecke. The cast of Pacific Overtures included Ernest Abuba, Thomas Ikeda, Kevin Gray, and Francis Jue. The cast of Anyone Can Whistle included Gaylea Byrne, Gary Krawford, Rosemary McNamara, and Sam Stoneburner.
